Our Approach

Why we do it this way.

The method is plain on purpose. No jargon, no clinical language — just the convictions the program is built on.

Why peer-led

Every man here has stood where the new guy is standing. That shared ground is the engine of the whole thing. No one is talking down from a credential or a clipboard — we are men walking alongside other men, and the work happens because of that honesty, not in spite of it.

Why root-cause

Addiction and the patterns around it almost never start where they show up. One-on-one mentorship goes underneath the behavior — into root-cause and inner-child trauma work — to the story that's been driving things. A man can't put down what he won't look at.

Why vision

Moving away from something isn't enough. Every man does the work of naming a personal vision and concrete goals — a life worth staying for. Mentorship then becomes the daily practice of walking toward it.

Why "a second shot"

This program exists because a man is worth more than his worst stretch. The six-month minimum, the daily check-ins, the accountability ladder — none of it is punishment. It's the structure that makes a real second shot possible. We intend to help every man make the most of his.

The Founder

"I built this because the men I cared about kept getting handed programs that talked at them. They didn't need another lecture. They needed someone to walk with them and tell them the truth."
Watson Wheeler Founder — runs the calls, leads mentorship, signs every official document.

Who's behind it

The Foundry Society is small by design. The men who run it are accountable to the men in it.

Watson Wheeler — Founder. Watson runs the calls, leads mentorship, and signs all official program documents.

Kristopher Cravens — Operations. Kristopher handles program documentation, infrastructure, and external materials.

To protect their privacy, we never publish the names of participants.

You don't have to do this alone.

That's the entire idea. When you're ready, reach out.
